Looking for style in Milano

The last day in Italy we've spent in Milan. It's totally different city then the ones we've seen before. Not so much Italien I would say.

Italy-133.jpg

We started our trip from the Bergamo airport.

Italy-132.jpg

Met some animals on our way there.

Italy-134.jpg

It is located so close to the Bergamo city we didn't even take the bus and decided to walk instead.

Italy-136.jpg

It took us about an hour to get from Bergamo city airport to Milan.

Italy-135.jpg

City bus station. Looks promising.

Italy-137.jpg

The unusual thing was the trams. They were literally everywhere.

Italy-138.jpg

Reminds you of anything? This would be OK if we were in China, but in Italy?

Italy-139.jpg

Milan growing up.

Italy-140.jpg

At the entrance of main library.

Italy-141.jpg

As you can see trams are really everywhere.

Italy-142.jpg

Makes me think that people are pretty fine here.

Italy-143.jpg

"Leonardo Da Vinci" statue.

Italy-144.jpg

Thinking about where to go next.

Italy-146.jpg

The "Quadrilatero d'Oro" or "Golden Square" - place with lots of different shops and restaurants. You must see it if you ever find yourself in Milan.

One of the shops.

Italy-148.jpg

"Duomo di Milano" - Milan Cathedral is the cathedral church of Milan, Italy.

Italy-149.jpg

The exit of the "Quadrilatero d'Oro" leads right to the Cathedral.

"Duomo di Milano" - Milan Cathedral, Milan, Italy.

Italy-151.jpg

The Gothic cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. It is the fourth largest cathedral in the world and the largest in the Italian state territory.

Italy-153.jpg

Unbelievable attention to details.

Italy-154.jpg

Italy-155.jpg

Entrance is totally free.

Italy-156.jpg

The inside atmosphere is a little creepy. Wouldn't say you feel quite comfortable there.

Italy-157.jpg

But it's definitely worth seeing it.

Italy-158.jpg

You can leave a candle as well if you wish.

Italy-159.jpg

In total really impressing.

Italy-160.jpg

Italy-162.jpg

Reminds me of London with it's cameras on every corner.

Italy-163.jpg

Tram stops. Very nice indeed.

Italy-164.jpg

Some kind of a university. Student or children are playing all the way.

Italy-165.jpg

Even small streets have tram rails.

Italy-166.jpg

As you can see there is not much nature in the city. This is the most I could find in the center of Milan.

Italy-167.jpg

The end of the center of the town.

Italy-168.jpg

Seemed to me that the middle one is smaller than the rest.

Italy-169.jpg

Back to the "Golden Square".

Italy-171.jpg

It's even more spectacular in the evening.

Italy-172.jpg

Italy-174.jpg

Even here you can see black people selling absolutely useless stuff...

Italy-173.jpg

Italy-175.jpg

The sign art that is so popular in Rome.

Italy-176.jpg

Heading back to the bus station.

Italy-177.jpg

Here it is at night. I'm guessing it will look pretty good when they finish it.

Italy-178.jpg

Some add on the building.

Italy-179.jpg

Going back to the airport.
