Back to Stockholm
Halloween had come, and of course a great chance to visit neighbor countries and catch some of their celebration feeling..
One evening a got a call from my friend Victoria who asked me if I wanted to go to Stockholm for a weekend? She had already formed a group of 4 people so I called my friend and we thought that it might be fun. So here we are - leaving Riga.
Our team for the weekend.
Chilling in a bar..
..and getting ready for the fun night.
Since it was November - it was pretty cold outside, especially in the open sea.
The ship wasn't that big comparing to the ones that go from Stockholm to Helsinki but still had some entertainment on board.
Entrance to the dance floor.
Early morning breakfast.
We've seen many decorations on the streets because of the Halloween that took place just a week ago.
Traditional Stockholm symbols.
The very center of Stockholm.
It was pretty cold out there but luckily I did manage to buy these amazing warm headphones.
The main square in Stockholm.
Halloween signs everywhere.
We were really lucky to have such a wonderful weather.
Gun tied in a knot as symbol for reaching peace. Very popular monument in many countries. There's one in New York as well.
One day in Stockholm is totally enough I would say. So in the evening we were back on our ferry heading for Latvia.
I have no idea why Victoria is praying. :) Maybe she got tiered of us.
Closing in to Riga coastline.
You can feel the freshness in the morning.
An interesting machine. I wonder what is it for.
Just left sea and entered Daugava river that leads right to the docks in Riga.
Feeling warm in my new winter headphones.
And here we are. Rigas national port. Special thanks to Victoria for a wonderful trip.comments powered by Disqus
