Quick trip to Atlantic city..

Millions and millions of dollars are won in Atlantic City's casinos in an average day. Needless to say, chances are that more money is usually lost on any given day.

Atlantic city is located just s few hours from New York. It sure is a great place to get after busy city rush. Here we are leaving New York. Manhattan on the background.

And here we are - Atlantic city. The closest city from New York where you can find casinos.

Thousands of people go to Atlantic city every day to play poker, black jack, roulette and other games.

The Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort in Atlantic City has four and a half times more steel than the Eiffel Tower in Paris.

Atlantic-5.jpg

In general this is a small city with population of a little over 274 000 people which really isn't that much.
In Brooklyn for instance is 2 504 700 and this is only one district in New York. Atlantic city also has many outlets so it's a great place for shopping.

Atlantic-6.jpg

The whole city is located by the ocean and has an astonishing promenade.

Atlantic-7.jpg

Interesting attraction. You can get this kind of transport for relatively small amount of money.

Atlantic-8.jpg

All casinos and resorts are located right down the beach.

Atlantic-10.jpg

The spirit is amazing. It doesn't matter if it's wednesday or saturday - people are partying hard all the time. Life is wonderful in this place.

Atlantic-9.jpg

But the best thing I liked in Atlantic city isn't the casinos - it's the ocean.

Atlantic-11.jpg

Atlantic city beach - it's a complete open ocean here. No bays or gulfs. And you can totally feel it.

Atlantic-13.jpg

Real Atlantic ocean.

Atlantic-12.jpg

Strangely not that many people on the beach. I guess everybody are playing at the casinos.

Atlantic-14.jpg

Totally different ocean from the Brighton beach in New York. By the way this is me over there in the waves.

Atlantic-15.jpg

And this is the main promenade. Cool decorations.

Atlantic-16.jpg

Coca Cola in America is something totally different. I was drinking it all day long. Wish we had the same in Europe.

Atlantic-17.jpg

Some kind of amusement park and a helicopter tour.

Atlantic-19.jpg

Another huge casino - hotel in Atlantic city.

Atlantic-18.jpg

It looks great at daytime and even better at night.

Atlantic-20.jpg

In general if you come here in the morning, one day is more than enough to do a little shopping, go for a swim and see the very best of the city.

Atlantic-21.jpg

Every hotel has its own decorations.

Atlantic-22.jpg

Atlantic-23.jpg

The darker it gets the more people appear.

At about 19.00 PM it gets really dark and since the trip back takes about two hours we decided to call it a day.

If you have at least one free day in New York I really suggest visiting this city. And by the way, in case you want to try luck in playing some games at the casino, don't forget to take your passport. Unlike Las Vegas driver licences won't do here.
